THE SKETCH

Every surface begins as an idea translated through hand-drawn composition, proportion, and material direction.

Rooted in traditional Indian hand embroidery practices, the studio’s earliest works explored intricate craftsmanship through detailed sketching, surface planning, and artisanal precision.

THE PINNING

As the work evolved into couture and niche international markets, embroidery compositions became increasingly dimensional — balancing placement, texture, and movement through carefully layered surfaces.

Each pinned element represented experimentation through structure, embellishment, and textile rhythm.

THE SAMPLING

Through continuous material exploration, the studio developed handcrafted swatches and embroidery studies inspired by couture, Moroccan and Algerian bridalwear, and contemporary textile detailing.

Sampling became a process of refining depth, tactility, and visual atmosphere through embroidery.

THE SURFACE

Today, Addaro develops handcrafted embroidery surfaces for couture fashion, interiors, and collectible textile artworks — approaching embroidery as a contemporary artistic language shaped by craftsmanship, restraint, and dimensional detail.
